I'm Sharon and first fell in love with ceramics at school and after a long career in nursing & nurse management went back to clay!
Sculpting comes naturally to me and I have developed my skills & techniques over several years. I have a huge passion for pottery & love sharing this knowledge with others, so in 2016 Me & Hubbit Ste (who also has a bit of a pottery bug!) purchased The crafty Potter studio.
I have lots of teaching experience and I love that I have now brought this into the wonderful world of clay. From The Crafty Potter studio I share this clay knowledge, along with all the tips & tricks so you can start your own amazing clay journey.
Is whatever takes my fancy, with so many areas in clay, I could never stick to just one type or area, I love exploring & dabbling and seeing where the clay takes me. My Huge Passion and what I spend alot time doing, is Sculpting. Usually Inspired by animals, my sculptures are usually fun & Chunky, with an aim to represent their quirky & characterful natures.
