SIX WEEK FLEXIBLE POTTERY COURSE £150
We run a 6 week beginners course
Its a great fun & friendly introduction to the various methods of working with clay.
Sessions Run:
Sessions Weekdays: Don't need to be attended on the same day or time each week, Dont have to be consecutive weeks - Making it fab for those that work shifts. 10am or 1.30pm starts. Usually two weeks notice needed to start the course.
Saturday Sessions: Run consecutive saturdays at 10am. Next available starts 21st March & 30th May
GENERAL COURSE INFO:
18 Years +
We cover various methods of clay work during the course. The weeks usually run...
Wk 1: Coiling
Wk 2: Wheel Throwing & surface decoration
Wk 3: Slab work
WK 4: Sculpting an animal
wk 5: Exploring your own ideas- It's a go it alone session, with support on hand if you need it.
Wk 6: Glazing a few of your favourite items from the course
- Each session is 2 hours duration
- During the 6 weeks you will explore different building methods, making 1 new build each week.
- Clay & Bisque firing of all your work is included.
- You can rescheudle up to 2 classes during the course with 24 hours notice.
- The sessions are valid for 3 months from your first visit. Your course must be completed within this time frame.
I have completed the course - Whats next?
After you have completed the course you have the option of being a potter member or doing independent making sessions. If you are not yet ready to go it alone, you can do another tutored six weeks with more emphasis on your own ideas.
