The day starts by showing you with assistance how centre and pull a pot on the potters wheel - you then get a second ball of clay and have time to practice by yourself. There is plenty of hands on support & verbal prompts throughout.
We aim for 2-3 pots
You'll then move over to the workbench to add surface decorations to your creations.
You may want to add handles to make a cup or jug, or you may wish to change & alter the shape of your thrown & handmade pots. We have lots of cutters, moulds & stamps that can be used to make your pots personal & unique.

The day starts as the half day, once you have decorated & altered your pots
We break for lunch around 12.30-1.30pm. You can either bring lunch with you, or there are 3 food outlets within the centre (additional charge).
The afternoon is spent relaxing with some glazing. You'll glaze a mug using coloured underglazes.
