HAND BUILDING CLASSES

We have a mix of Functional & Decorative Classes, all suitable for beginners.

INFO:

18+ years, maximum 4 persons.

These are hand building classes & do not include time on the potters wheel.

All members of your group need to make the same item due to the step by stap nature of the class- You will be able to finish them in different ways to make them unique.

Materials & firing is included in the session fee, ready for collection 3 weeks later.

Your pots can then be painted at home with acrylics OR You may wish to return to the studio to glaze them £15

PUMPKINS & GHOSTS £50

Runs: Aug-Oct Tues 10am or Thurs & Sat 1.30pm

Get ready for spooky season in this 2hr class where you'll make your own clay pumpkins and ghosts.

These fab makes can be used around the house year after year.

BEACH HUT £50

Runs: Tues 10am-12midday or Thursday & Sat 1.30-3.30pm

A fab 2hr class. It doesn't need to be a beach hut - You can make it a garden shed, hen house or little fairy house - We have even had shreks toilet!

We show you step by step how to construct the hut with slabs of clay, before showing you the various ways to add texture & surface decoration.

HYDRANGEA'S £80

Runs: Tues 10am-3pm

Come & join us making some fabulous flowers that last all year round. You can make them so we can add stems or have them for sitting on the counter top.

We have a break for lunch (not included) 12.45-1.30pm

WHIMSICAL HOUSE £95

We make the house using slabs of clay, then show you all the various finishes that can be done to make them unique.

SPRING JUG £50

Runs: Thurs & Sat 1.30-3.30pm

Come & make your very own beautiful spring jug. Perfect for those summer drinks or fresh seasonal flowers.

We use a slab of clay to form the jug,once constructed we then show you the various finishes.

TANKARD CLASS £50

Runs: Thurs & Sat 1.30-3.30pm

There is nothing like drinking out of your own handmade mug!

In this 2hr class you'll make either a mug or tankard using slabs of clay. Our tutor will show you step by step how to make your own creation and the various ways that texture and/or surface decoration can be applied.

BUTTER DISH £50

Runs: Thurs & Sat 1.30-3.30pm

Make your own handmade butterdish, part of your morning routine.

We make the dish using slabs of clay, once made we show you the different finishes that can be applied.

GARDEN GNOME £50

Runs: Thurs & Sat 1.30-3.30pm

Come and make a garden gnome that will add some personality & humour to your garden.

We start by showing you how to form the body with pinch pots, then add all the personal details.
