Pottery is a fabulous relaxing, low impact activity that is highly social & very therapeutic

The Crafty Potter hosts pottery sessions for groups of up to ten people. These are fabulous for family get togethers, Special Occassions, Well Being Days & Team Building Events.

These are tailored sessions so that everyone in the group can experience both handbuilding & have a go on the potters wheel. Suitable for beginners, no experience necessary.

GROUP SESSION FROM £45pp

Sessions Run:

Tues to sat 10-1pm

We start this 3 hour session either at the workbench or on the potters wheel.

At the workbench we'll show you the steps to attach, blend & shape clay to make a simple vase or mug using coils of clay. You'll then add some personal decoration using cutters or moulds.

At the potters wheel, you are shown the steps to throw a pot on the potters wheel, You then get time with another ball of clay to have a go by yourself.

Materials & firing is included in the session fee, ready for collection 3 weeks later

They can then be painted at home with acrylics

OR

You can return to glaze them £15pp

Please note:

We can only keep finished pots for 6 weeks from the date of your session. If you cant get back in this time frame, you are welcome to take home your creations & allow them to air dry.
