Session/s refers to all booked sessions, classes & experiences




  • If we must cancel your session, a full refund will be issued.
  • For a full refund you must cancel your booking 21 days before your scheduled session.
  • We can only reschedule  your session if requested 14 days before your scheduled session. Reschedules between 48hrs - 13 days can only be done if another customer books your reserved place/s
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice, we are unable to refund or reschedule your session.
  • We do not refund or reschedule due to the weather or weather warnings.

Unfortunatley life events are not a rare occurrance for us and as a small business we can no longer sustain the losses that these inccur. We have had to put this policy in place to protect our employees and tutors who have been booked specifically for the events on offer, and for other customers who might have had a chance to book if the place was available.  Thank you for understanding.



  • If you fail to turn up for your session for what ever reason, no refunds or rescheduling will be given.




  • Payment is needed to secure your booking with us, if the session fee has not been paid within 24 hours of your request, your provisional booking will be removed from the diary, due to the high volume of booking requests.
  • Voucher numbers if relevant are needed to secure your booking with us, if these are not given to us within 24 hours of your request, your provisional booking will be removed from the diary, due to the high volume of booking requests.



  • The session needs to be booked in advance (please don’t leave it until the last minute as we can book up quickly), your session must take place within the valid period of your voucher.
  • You must have attended your session before the voucher expires.
  • Our vouchers last 6 months from the date of purchase.
  • Vouchers are not redeemable for cash
  • Due to the small studio & high demand for classes we hold a strict NO EXTENTIONS POLICY on vouchers. Your vouchers are not extendable once the expiry time has elapsed, regardless of situation. Please dont ask as a refusal offen offends.
  • If you have received a voucher as an unwanted gift, you may use this voucher against another activity of same value at the Crafty potter Studio, alternatively you may use your voucher as part payment against a more expensive activity at the crafty potter 
  • Vouchers don’t cover an optional glaze & fire service unless otherwise stated.
  • Lost gift vouchers can only be reissued with the voucher number & proof of purchase.
  • You must bring your voucher with you when you attend your session if you do not you WILL be charged for your session.
  • We hope you will be happy with your purchase, however, should you change your mind for whatever reason, return the voucher back to the studio within 14 days of purchase and we will happily give you a refund.
  • Sessions booked using your vouchers fall under the same cancellation policies of those that booked sessions- cancellations made within 21 days days of your session, your voucher/s can only be re used if another customer can be found to take your reserved place. Cancellations with less than 24 hours, your voucher is considered spent and will no longer be active. No shows on the day, your voucher will be considered spent and will no longer be active.



On the day of your class you are running late...

  • GLAZERS , you can join the session, time can not be made up at the end of the session, no partial refunds are given
  • POTTER MEMBER DROP INS, you can join the session, time can not be made up at the end of the session, no partial refunds are given
  • WHEEL EXPERIENCES, These classes are a prompt tutored start, once the class has started you can only join once the first 20 minutes of tutoring has been given , so not to distrupt the class in progress. Time cannot be made up at the end of the session. No refund or partical refunds are given.
  • TASTER / 6 WEEK COURSE / CUP CLASS, up to 10 minutes late you can join in the class, unfortunatley over 10 minutes late, you will no longer be able to attend the session as it would distrupt the class in progress -  you would have missed the essential building steps of the class. No refunds will be given.



  • If we accidentally break your item, you will be given the opportunity to remake your item. 
  • We advice you check your pots before leaving the studio, we dont accept responsibility for breakages once they have left the studio.
  • Unfortunatley on occassions items do explode or fracture during the firing process. If this happens to your creation we will refund any payments made for the glaze colouing of your item.


  • We keep your creations handbuild or glazed for 6 weeks from the date it was made.
  • After 6 weeks any creations that have not been collected are disposed off, No refunds are given in this event.
  • If you are wanting to glaze your items, but cant get in to do this, before your disposal date, you must collect your pots. You can them bring them back to the studio when you return to glaze them. Sadly we haven't got the space to hold on to them for you.
